PAULA DEGREGORIO
From childhood coloring books to Monet’s landscapes at the Boston Museum, art has always been Paula DeGregorio’s lens on the world. She studied painting and sculpture at the University of Massachusetts, where Abstract Expressionist mentors emphasized emotion over technique, while she also co-ran the Student Union Art Gallery, showcasing cutting-edge New York City artists.
After spending time in the Virgin Islands, Paula moved to New York, where she worked first with a handbag designer and later in architectural technology, blending creativity with professional practice. Since relocating to Michigan in 2010, she has exhibited at Petri Gallery, Art on the Town, the Ludington Art Center, and in pop-up shows throughout the region.
Paula’s current focus is on landscapes, waterscapes, and still lifes, working in oil, watercolor, and collage. Many of her works are held in private collections. Most recently, she has been designing and landscaping a neo mid-century modern home filled with art from around the world.
