Based in Clare, Michigan, Jeff Best is an avid outdoorsman whose love of nature inspires his art. He works primarily with wire—most notably reclaimed barbed wire, once used to fence livestock and mark property lines.

Known as “Devil’s Rope,” this weathered material is rescued from old fence posts and farm dumps, then transformed through Jeff’s creativity. By giving new life to discarded wire, he reveals unexpected beauty and purpose in what was once merely utilitarian.
